Even though it was only with the second single of this record (“Do I wanna know?”) that the Arctic Monkeys made it to the Billboard’s top 100 for the first time, “AM” was already their 5th studio work.
With already a big cult of followers in the UK, the Arctic Monkeys crossed the pond to America, and to the question “R U Mine?”, the world responded very positively.
AM became the most iconic and successful of their creations, playing around with the band's initials and the physics of sound waves and radio transmission.
